- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★A dedicated department made up of fine people. Always ready to assist and always respectful even in some very taxing situation which I've seen. In spite of a bloated, overly political administration, the uniformed force takes the high road and seems to do the right thing. It's a challenging job, dealing the the likes of a very economically and ethnically diverse community. I've raised a bunch of kids here, and every one of them have always had professional interactions with the LBPD. Glad live in a city that has the means to employ a locally managed police department.
